The Canadian Group Emergency Training Inc.
Since 1999, the Canadian Group Emergency Training Inc has delivered basic to advanced emergency medical care training for industry and government organizations across Canada, the USA and overseas. Over the past 25 years, we have organized safety programs and trained more than 350,000 participants throughout both countries and overseas.
We remain committed to advancing our educational objectives by delivering comprehensive, high-quality programs that emphasise innovation, expand perspectives, and underscore the importance of emergency care.
Our trainers maintain accreditation with multiple Canadian and American professional associations.
First Aid Authorized Providers
- Accredited Trainers with Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
- Accredited Trainers with the Lifesaving Society of Canada
- Accredited Trainers with the National Association of EMS Educators
- Accredited Trainers with the International Medic Response Group
The First Aid courses are designed to comply with the Canadian Standards Association, CSA Z1210:24, First Aid Training for the Workplace and the United States National Guidelines for First Aid Training.
Our First Aid courses are:
- Basic First Aid (BFA)
- Intermediate First Aid (IFA)
- Advanced First Aid (AFA)
- Sports First Aid (SFA)
Our Medical Responder courses are:
- Basic Medical Responder (BMR)
- Advanced Medical Responder (AMR)
- Oxygen Administration Responder (OAR)
Basic Life Support courses adhere to the following guidelines when applicable:
- Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada® CPR AED First Aid Guidelines.
- American Heart Association (AHA) CPR AED First Aid Guidelines.
- International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) Guidelines.
- Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and OHSA 1910.1030 (g)(2) Guidelines.
